Fostering is one of the most important aspects of rescue. This individual will ensure every foster has the supplies they need upon receiving an animal (or informing one of the Co-Founders of what the animal needs if they are bringing the animal to the foster), as well as answering any fostering questions. This person is also in charge of asking for up-to-date pictures of each foster animal. This person will be given the contact information for every foster in our system, and from there, they will be able to devise an appropriate strategy that keeps up-to-date with all of the animals in the foster home. If an animal needs a vet appointment, the Foster Coordinator is informed to reach out for a time of availability that the foster can take in their foster animal to the vet or to coordinate transport of the foster animal to the vet.
